Cubensis spores must have been introduced somewhere along your process. They will have all the properties of cubensis and none of the trops. Did you start from syringe? They also could have been introduced by the air. Do you grow alot of Cubes in your labode. Was your casing sterilized. Cubes can be a bit weedy sometimes. Avoid letting your cubes spore inside your house. Did you wash your hands before touching your set up. They could have been introduced at any stage.

d'oh. it still doesn't make too much sense. the myc was fully colonizee when it entered the terrarium. the same terrarium was used for cubes. In theory, there were probably cube spores flying about the terrarium.

It still seems a bit crazy to me...

Will do :) Myc is coming along now, seemed to take quite a while to germinate. I'm trying one jar of "fake poop" I made. A big handfull of _finely_ chopped straw, 2 tbsp potting soil, 2tsp brf. Looks pretty poopy to me:)
