I took a look at one of my babies this morning and it has trich in little patches all over it. BAH! What?s worse..I looked at the others and did not like what I found.
So now I have to start all over, and I?ll probably be using every bit of the spore syringes I have..So this time, I?ll be as sterile as a fookin hospital. I performed surgery on one so far and put it outside to give it a chance. I?ll be doing the same with two more, but one is beyond help. :frown:  I still have four unbirthed cakes that are hopefully alright...

I know it?s a crappy picture (I?m saving up for a digi cam), but here is one
baby after surgery. She lost a leg, so she?s leaning a little.  :frown:

sterility is the key of success, but sometimes we blame everything not ot be sterile and this isnt the case. all your cakes have the same shit all over them?

you have to wait a week before birthing them to ensure that there is no food left inside which hasnt been eaten. then the mycelium is very strong at least for the first two or three flushes. maybe it yours terrarium's fault? was it clean? was it protected from the enviroment? flies, dust etc etc

My father got a staff infection last week in a hospital, maybe you should shoot for laboratory sterility instead of hospital sterility.
