Senior year, college searching...
Talking to guidance counselors, parents, friends, etc however I'm curious what colleges some of you would recommend.
Got a 3.75 outa 4.0 gpa, scored 680 680 on math and reading or whatever so, 1360 on those 2.
I love sciences, however I dont want to be restricted to that if I go to a school.
Basically if anyone can just throw out some colleges you might think are a rough match, would be appreciated, and Ill check them out..

yeah dude, pretty vague of a question, I'm not trying to be a douchebag and say check out the search button but seriously, you should check out the search button haha...I remember a week or 2 ago there was a thread about 'hippie' colleges, which seems like the best way to avoid a college full of the type of people you would expect at a college...if I seem bitter towards college students it's because I am (surrounded by blind conformity, commercialism and retards)

As a generality, i hate college kids. Whenever I visit friends at other schools we always end up at frat parties and i'm usually miserable hahaha

Go to Penn State University. 1 out of 8 people that graduate college come out of there. Think of it as a big union, if you go into an interview you have a good chance the board of people doing the interview someone may have came from PSU. Alumni look out for alumni.

You're from Mass? Brandeis is a pretty good school. It's private, but they give a lot of academic scholarships. If you're into science, they have a program where if you have a 3.2 by your senior year you can get your undergrad and masters in four years, but they have a lot of other strong programs too. It's near Boston, which is awesome. Strong academics, nice campus, and you'll probably get some big scholarships.

Though I am interested in Oregon, it must be said that its pretty accepted knowledge that Oregon has an abysmal college system.

I used to go to Emory U and have spent my fair share of time hanging out at NYU. Great schools, yes. But the problem with those schools are:
1. They're expensive as fuck 2. The people that tend to go to these type of schools tend to be spoiled rotten rich kids 3. Because of #2, a large percentage of the student body tends to be a bunch of pompous cunts 4. If you didn't learn how to study properly in high school, you are so fucked when you get to one of the top schools. I graduated with a 3.6, 4.0 in the sciences. Was a bio major, thought I knew how to study... Nope, my GPA crashed and burned at Emory. All in all, Emory was one of the worst times of my life.

Heh.... Make sure you go to the schools first if you're considering Vermont. Well, make sure to go to EVERY college you apply to, regardless of where it's at.
I spent a weekend at Middlebury College. I think I'd go insane in a town like that. Vermont is just... A whole buncha mountains, trees, and small towns from what I saw.
