How often to check on jars

I just inoculated my first 3 jars a little over a week ago. 2 were already scrapped due to specs of green mold growing in them. The third one looks like it could also flop but I'm holding out hope and plan to check it in another few days or so.
This past weekend I started another 3 jars with what was left in my syringe. I have them in a separate container from the other one and both containers I bleached the heck out of. I'm pretty sure I did everything I could with these 3. My thinking is that they'll either all be good or all go to hell.
But I'm thinking that it might be good to check on them as little as possible to reduce risks. I was gonna say a maximum of once a week but I just saw somebody said to not even bother checking until 2-3 weeks after inoculation. Does that sound like a plan and how often do you guys peek in at yours?
I also plan to get a glovebox for my next attempt but, for now, I'm having to do without.

If you have proper filtration on your jars, you can check on them all you want. I leave mine on an open shelf and have about 1% contam rate (I use a glove box) I check on mine several times a day, haha. I just love watching them progress.

you can check on them as many times as you want, i think people say that you should forget about them for a couple of weeks just so that you see a lot of progress, i check on mine everytime i can.

I try to not check on mine very often to avoid stirring the air/contamination paranoia. I inoculated about two weeks ago and I only have about 1/3 colonization in the most colonized jars, and they've been in a box in a garbage bag on a heating pac : ( it takes forever. I'm surprised I haven't been checking everyday, but if I were it would go by so much slower.

> How often to check on jars
The more you play with them, the more likely you are to induce contamination. I used to keep one jar separate and check on it two or three times a day to help take the edge off... and leave the others alone, checking on them once a week.

I check mine once a day, to keep track on the mycelium growth, but I wash my hands every time before I handle the jars. I mark on each jar the date they reach 100% so I'll know when to birth them...

Stick them in a TiT and check them once a week.

As long as you dont distrub the verm layer you can check on them as much as you want. I have checked on mine almost everyday, even with picking them up without any problems.
The dry verm layer is your filter, it will catch any contaminant spores and since its dry, spores wont germinate.
Light is not a pinning trigger, so peaking at them wont cause early pinning.
