Honestly, it's fear like this that will be the downturn of our country, not the economy itself. It's fear that drove the depression, and fear that is driving this "recession".
Don't Panic.

Is this in reference to my post...?
If so, I didn't necessarily imply that the US was done for. But it's obvious that we have made some mistakes, and I was wondering what other up and coming nations could learn from us?

lol, that although "were #1!" shit happens, people abuse power, etc. like any other country. im sure theres some b*stards saying "not so mighty now, huh US?" (the french;)). The situation is pretty bad, but with time it will be fixed. I KNOW if McCain and Caribou barbie win, THAN everyone's going to be sure that the US is full of idiots. Im more afraid of Palin being a heartbeat away from the power chair than i am of this whole financial bailout situation.

The world can hopefully learn that more is not better, and that money and power over others does not bring happiness. If you don't know how to be happy with what you have, you still won't know how once you get what you want.
