I still just use a piece of cardboard with some tinfoil on it as my reflector it works pretty well and at no real cost.  The other side is black and can be used to cast shadows where needed.

I bought some of these and use them to stabilise the camera. They're fairly malleable but they are pretty stable once you get them into position, so they're useful for front-on shots with a slow shutter speed, that a tripod can't get low enough for.

All the shrooms etc were non slimy ' and I took all pics ! Chronologically ! I think these might be magic mushrooms ! Help please ! Location northern places in India ! Mild winters have arrived ! And fog is prominent ! Help help help ! I ate the 2 small bulbs the first day ! I did not die ! I May Have felt a little color happy ! But it might have just been my anticipation working ! So I guess I have no other way to know if the mushys were magic mushrooms or not ! Plz help identifying ! I CONDEMN THE USE OF MAGIC MUSHROOMS ! AND PROMISE I WILL NEVER AGAIN CONSUME THESE AWESOME LITTLE MUSHROOMS ! Or the big ones they are also so awesome but not to be picked ! Lol ! Help

Copelandia cyanescens group, check microscopic features & compare with the key in Gerhardt 1996.

...do you folks have any tips for someone with nerve damage in the hands and forearm?

Sometimes they shake a little especially if I've picked a lot, or after moving lots of brush.

I don't even know which setting to look for. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for my camera, unless my wife got me a camera for xmas.

What settings should I look for? I need something to focus and take the pic as fast as possible. When my phone does the "Processing..." thing, my hands will shake a little and I never get a good shot.

A little winter we candy!
Helvella crispa or  Helvella lacunosa found up in the high altitude of the Pacific Northwest. These ugly little things have been popping up everywhere the last month. I know a guy who eats them and claims they are delicious, but I found this out late in the season. Also known as black Elfin Saddle Mushroom, a type of false moral.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent macro lens for micro 4/3rds or Canon EF?

Can't recommend anything for EF.
But for M4/3 this baby is the best way you can go in my opinion:

https://www.amazon.com/Olympus-MSC-60mm-2-8-Lens/dp/B0096WDK0K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478245121&sr=8-1&keywords=Olympus+M.Zuiko+Digital+ED+60mm

I don't own it but tried it from a friend. It's a beast of a lens.

More on the friendly side of budged are those two lenses:

https://www.amazon.com/Olympus-M-Zuiko-Digital-Macro-Black/dp/B01ERLMUD2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478245631&sr=8-1&keywords=Olympus+M.+Zuiko+Digital+ED+30mm

https://www.amazon.com/PANASONIC-Mirrorless-Thirds-Optical-H-HS030/dp/B00TXOYHYE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478245717&sr=8-1&keywords=panasonic+lumix+g+macro+30mm

I have seen the Pana for 300 Bucks too.
Though I haven't tried these lenses, I bet they are great for the price. I never saw any "bad" lenses for M4/3 in that price range.

The budged solution (if you already have something like Oly 45mm 1.8 or Sigma 60mm 2.8 or similar) is to try one of those:

https://www.amazon.com/Raynox-DCR-150-Snap-On-Macro-Lens/dp/B0007KS7D0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478246093&sr=8-1&keywords=Raynox+DCR-150

https://www.amazon.com/Raynox-DCR-250-Super-Macro-Snap/dp/B000A1SZ2Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1478246093&sr=8-2&keywords=Raynox+DCR-150

This is the way I will go next with my Oly 45 1.8
From what I read the DCR-250 is a little bit "uncomfortable" to work with, so I will buy the 150.
