I went out exploring today- found a few different kinds of mushrooms. From what I know I don't think any of them are edible, but I thought I would post em all on here, see if maybe Im wrong.
#1

Habitat: Washington state, the rainy side. I found these next to some blackberry bushes of a trail that goes around the new golf course. A woody area, right on the coast of the Puget Sound.
Gills: The gills are white.
Stem: Stems are tannish, hollow. Diameter is smaller than a pencil, but not too much. One exception- stem is white & bluish- the cap fell off.
Cap: They wary from the size of an M&M to the size of a half dollar. half of the caps are rounded, the others are flat. They are all tan-brown in color, with the rounded ones being slightly darker.
Spore print color: still waiting...
#2

Habitat: The woods by a bunch of decaying trees.
Gills: Dull greyish-white
Stem: squishy & solid
Cap: whitish around edges, dark brown in middle. gets lighter the further away from the middle you go. weird little dark sqaure-like markings all over
#3

Habitat: Woods, beside a decaying pine tree.
Gills: yellow, encased behind some kind of light yellow membrane.
Stem: Highlighter yellow, bruising brownish. hollow
Cap: cone-like, tan- lighter in middle & around edges
#4

Looks like your "average" mushroom
Habitat: Woods, in dirt & dead tree muck.
Gills: white, straight
Stem: white, solid, fat
Cap: brownish-grey, round, bowl shaped (underside)
cant wait to explore more and see what else I can find. Still waiting on spore prints for all of the above.
