I may be wrong, but perhaps watering "daily" could be part of your problem. In his outdoor Tek, Moe makes it a point to say "Go away" in regards to maintainence... Shrooms grow in the outdoors naturally without any interference from humans. A friends outdoor shrooms keep getting plundered by insects, but I have read several posts around here where people got frustrated, forgot about their outdoor patch, only to be pleasantly suprised one day when several popped up unexpectedly.

The best advantage of growing outside is the lack of matience. As Moe called her "That big fat bitch (maybe not completely on, but its the general idea), mother nature" takes care of everything. (Unless it is really dry or really wet). Just stop f#cking with it, smoke a bowl, and read about growing. Just check on it after there is a good rain.

Let Them cHill............. Let the network build up stop looking at it everyday shocking it when you move the hay and poo ... Water once every two weeks.... It took my friend three weeks to produce his first baby out door .... ( using a couple half pints) The first baby popped out looking like a cap and maybe a inch of stem ... pulled it out and it was atleast 11"long and thick as hell .... check the rest of the patch and found 6 moire fat beautys ... So wait ... and then wait some more It could also depend on the soil around you ...my friend did his right next top his garden ...
How far did you dig it ... i have heard some having big waits cause they burried it to deep ... good luck with it bro .... be patient ..
Good trip to you and bad ones two the fricken animal that dug up my seven cobweb pr cakes ... little bastard
p.s. do a search on this forum .... When moe made the outdoor tek a couple weeks later someone said something about using a clear tupperware container over the patches helps keep the humdity up ... maybe it help it colonizer faster ... Read ,Compare, And Try&Learn p.s.s. Also can try to line your patches with 4"x4' 's ( like most do with their gardens as "walls" ... When it rains the logs will soak up some of the water giving the patch a spare pack of wtaer near by .... p.s..s.s. B+'s like woods ... old chunks of wood ....
