Static pressure Q

I am going to buy a fungi.com hepa filter because I want one that is 6 inches thick unless someone chimes in with a better option. Everything on ebay is 12 inches thick making the flowhood very long. Its a one time buy so I dont really care.

They are rated at .8 static pressure and I am getting a 24x24x5.8 filter.

what type of squirrel cage blower should I get. I am looking to go a little bit over the standard and put a regulator switch on it.

500 cfm blower at 1" static pressure. I've posted all the math for this exact question so many times, I won't type it all over again. The search feature here is your friend.

Ok I am unclear on a few things. Are both the filter and the blower rated at different SP?
I called grainger and told them I needed a blower with those specs and all they could come up with was.

715cfm at .9 sp - item number #1xjx8

This blower as all the ones rated at 500 cfm were around 2.5 SP?

So needless to say ill keep using the search function but I am confused

1xjx7 www.grainger.com is the replacement for the 202.40$ previously listed squirrel cage blower. It has a higher cfm at .8 sp which I think will work better given that a pre-filter is mandatory
