Former President Bill Clinton defended Sen. John McCain's request to delay the first presidential debate, saying McCain did it in "good faith" and pushed organizers to reserve time for economy talk during the debate if the Friday plans move forward.

The only one 'getting heat' for not sticking to the debate is McCain... the guy that suspended his campaign so that he could focus on his job. Meanwhile, Obama continues to take taxpayer money to pay his salary, ignores his job (as he is too busy preparing for a presidential debate), and chides McCain for not doing the same.

McCain's voting history in the Senate speaks for itself. He has the worst absentee rating of any Senator. There is no way in hell you can say he is doing this to focus on his job. The last two quarters he hasn't even voted except for once in the Senate, and now he is so concerned. BS.
