If you went to a private school for the education you might as well have been homeschooled and not be forced into things you disagree with and save your states voucher! Then you can get the education that you seek not just the one they provide you with. Homeschooling offers children a chance to work beyond a set lesson plan as long as they first cover the requirements!

The Cypher said: I was homeschooled up until high school. At least for me, I needed more interaction with people and socialization than homeschooling could offer once I turned 14 or so.
Get a job??? or a hobby? Join a gym/sports club. Or you can still be involved in school sports when you are homeschooled. Just because the school is lacking in educational funds doesn't mean they lack it in sports funding! Take Texas for instance...jk. I had 2 girls on my softball team that were homeschooled.

I'm just saying that there are more ways to have a social life than go to a private/public school.

Then how come the "One nation under God" line wasn't added until the 1950s? The founding fathers clearly wanted a the church to keep out of government, and that includes public schools. The pledge of allegiance, as it currently written, goes against their wishes and should be ruled unconstitutional.

How it should be.....
CHURCH|BRICK WALL|STATE
But that will never be the case, as much as we try, the beliefs of religious people will affect government so we must deal with that.
IMO...Accept the moderates, place many protections on government and "destroy" and marginalize the fundamentalists at every possible opportunity.
