inocculation found something out

i inocc 12 half pint jars and put then back into the box the jars came into.after a couple of weeks i found out the jars in the middle of the box grew faster.i thought why.maybe the jars on the outside are colder than the one on the inside.makes sence hu.so do the jars give out heat during inocculation if so it made sence why the one in the middle grew faster.so a wraped a blanket around the whole box to keep heat inside.seems to be workeing better.does any one do this :grin:

im sure the jars didnt give off heat, im sure they just insulated the inner jars

I'm sure the jars do give off heat. not an extreamly large amount, but still some heat none the less. Heat is always a result of metabolism.
