pc too long?

i've been doing this for a while, but i've never done this before. i fell asleep while pc'ing quarts of birdseed. they wound up pc'ing for a little over 2 1/2 hours. is this o.k., or too long?

did you burn the seeds or PC? are the seeds a black powder? I would either cook more seeds or use those and hope they still work

I always PC my birdseed/millet for 25-30 minutes, sometimes it makes some seeds pop and burn. But i could imagin that your jars are REALLY fucked up if your PC'ed for 2 and a half hours. I would throw them out and re-do it. Your lucky the whole thing didnt explode. Next time PC when you are awake...
