Yeah, I do a 25 mile trek at least once a week just for fun.
I love the adrenaline and getting away from where I live.
I bike everywhere.

When I see an SUV I assume there's an idiot driving.
...well what would you call it when somebody chooses to drive a square metal box that guzzles fuel at ten miles per gallon?
People can do what they want but 10 mpg to get you from A to B... madness.

Oh yeah the topic
Short distance I prefer to go on foot because its good exercise, longer distance bicycle, long distance public transportation. Toss in a ride with friends splitting the gas and there you go.
Works fine for me.

I used to. But I hated getting places exhausted and covered in sweat.
I recently bought an electric scooter. Goes around 35km/h, climbs hills quite well, and travels 70-90km before needing to be recharged. Plus you don't need insurance or a license. Cost $1600 after tax and levies.
Best purchase I've ever made.

I bike alot and also walk alot....sometimes get frustrated and just run to places. If feeling lazy I use public transport but still living without a car, I hope to stay this way but one main problem is having to have someone with a car around when buying something bigger.

My bike is a big rusty pile of shit with a bent gear sprocket, so I never really use it. I walk or drive my 6-cylinder car.

I walk everywhere.. I'm too poor for public transportation for the most part.
I need to walk into the ghetto and ask a crack head matey to get me a bike for £20 .

I bike to work and walk everywhere else. Honostly i think people now a days are too dependent on motor vehicals to get anywhere. People ask me where your car I say I walk and they are like and I'm like why pay money to go somewhere when I can get exercise and do it for free.

True that. If I need to get somewhere far in the city I will just hop on the bus since it is free for me.

Yes, I have a bike and skate-bored. They are my main rides, including the buses and the trolley.
Having a car SUCKS and i had one for a while, With my bike i can keep in shape and with the bus its someone else doing my driving! Its like a giant limo that i have to share with 30 other people I enjoy it

I ride a fixed gear bike everywhere. But I am going to get my car out for this winter. I think that if I tried a bike where I live in the winter I would be dead in a week. Cars do not pay attention to bikers.

I use a bike to get around town, but I have a suv that I got from my parents, it gets 22 mpg which ain't horrible, the suv is nice for winter, moving, loading up kayaks. I totally want to get a cheap motorcycle just for gas saving purposes.

I have an 06 subaru forester, it has under 4k miles on it b/c I ride the bus to work (free bus pass!) and ride my scooter every where else. I really only use it to go into the mountains.

I've seen a few people riding unicycles around, that was interesting to see.
