Golden Teacher or Treasure Coast strand?

im pretty sure its golden teacher from the pictures ive seen. but when i dried it, the cap is not golden, its white and in the middle of the cap is brown. wondering which one it is.

I have had pictures of the mushroom I wanted to get identified and according to the greats it is nearly impossible to tell without the specimen in hand.. sorry

sry, here it is. im worried that i might have some contaminated mushrooms cuz they dont smell like mushrooms. reminds me of a fresh caught fish

Nobody can ID a dried mushroom. Don't eat it since you're not sure. Besides, even if it is cubensis, that tiny thing won't do you any good anyway. RR

ok thanks for the help, ill try and get a picture before i harvest. actually, heres one, i only have 2 strands so the opposite of this one is the one is it.
also, whats with the fish smell, might just be my upper lip =]

Its called a "strain" not a strand.

The dried shroom looks like a tiny lightly colored GT. Then again most cubes have very similar structure.
