Georgia Blueing Mushroom ID please!!!

Habitat: It was found beside a lake with a lot of pine trees and sand substrait.
Gills: blueish white gills seperated Stem: 1-2 inches long, strong blueing,
Cap: White cap with spots of blue.
Bruising: Strong Blueing
Other information: Found in Northwest Cobb County Georgia

Yep, that's what I think. Not active but edible - haven't tried it myself 'cause I haven't encountered it.

Found quite a few yesterday actually, unfortunately bugs got to it so it really wasnt worth eating them, they are badass breaded and fried and served with a salad or as a side with a entree.

It was kind of on a nature trail, i usually find them in woodchips in forests on nature trails.

I hunt lots of nature trails with woodchips, almost everyday.
I love habitats like these.

You should be able to find a lot then, Have any of you georgians seen any chants around? They should start popping up by now and nothing beats chants i can eat those damn things any time. They have to be my favorite edible besides Oysters.

I have been finding the smooth chants or gill less ones
I havent looked for them for a month but i was finding 3-5 pounds a day

Our chantie season started out awesome but was brought to an unfortunate end by a heat wave and drought Every patch I found was annihilated by the dry weather over a couple weeks!
