just got back

well, i still havent died, i guess thats a good thing. anyways, we went to a friends cow pasture and we found a couple of mushrooms. heres some pics, hope u all can help, and thanks in advance. im only askin about the one i have the must doubt. we didnt find that many, cuz the cows looked too pissed off.

i knew it was too young, but still went ahead and cut it and... no spores

went to the library but all the mushrooms books are out...
if this isnt a cube... im givin up on the hunting and im goin to wait till i check out some books, or find somebody experienced.

It's probably Lepoita. They're popping up like mad recently. On the drive home I saw several lawns with over 100 Chlorophyllum molybdites growing from them...
The mushroom you found could be toxic, and it's not active. You're best just tossing it

The mighty GumbyDude has it - looks like a Lepiota. If you can't get a spore print to verify species then you have a good chance of it being poisonous. Definitely do not eat it.
