where's the fan for fresh air exchange?
you're going to need holes all over too, not just in that one position.
you really shouldn't have any problem keeping the tub humidified with a decent layer of perlite. it'll do the trick. you may have to add a little water every flush, but that's it.

unless your using something like a martha or large cupboard i dont see the point in using a humidifier. Perlite in a shotgun fc performs perfectly well, and is cheap.

If you've got the humidifier already you might as well just use it.... but 6 dollars worth of perlite can last years. Just gotta put it in the oven every once in a while to re-sterilize it.

I had a similar setup when I started, only I had a little more holes, and the holes were at the bottom of the tub (CO2 is heavier than air, so it tends to sink to the bottom). However, I switched for a shotgun FC with only perlite because my humidifier sucked in air that was full of contams... maybe you could add a HEPA box around your coolmist, but that will cost ya. If you decide to go with that setup, make sure you add peroxide to the water in your cool mist and change/clean that hose regularly with bleach or something. My hose got full of bacteria/mold rapidly..
Anyways, good luck and happy growing!

thats what a coolmist is: a source of humid fresh air.
anyways: you are going to want to coil that tube out of the coolmist a whole bunch. at least 3 times, or run it through a few pop bottles. if you dont there will be alot of water spray coming out of the end and it was saturate your cakes.

my bad, i wasnt aware that the coolmist would help provide fresh air.
either way, i feel like anything besides perlite is overkill and probably only going to introduce more potential contaminants.

The cool mist was for the fresh air exchange and I planned on putting perioxide in it too. I forgot about putting my holes down closer to the bottom which I will do and I will be making more than one.

The attached light will overheat the terrarium and the humidifier will flood it. For a small setup, I'd suggest the Shotgun Terrarium Tek, which is the product of many years of experimenting with countless different fruiting chambers, from terrariums to walk in grow rooms. RR
