I BET WITH THE PICTURE THIS WILL STILL BE HARD TO IDENTIFY...I USED TO PICK AND EAT SHROOMS ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO....NOW I GUESS I AM ALITTLE OLDER AND MAYBE WISER..I SAID ALITTLE.
ANY WAY I LIVE IN EAST TEXAS..I PICKED THESE TODAY GROWING IN COW DUNG...THEY STAIN ALMOST BLACK, STEM IS SOLID, AND THEY ALMOST LOOK A COPPER COLOR IN THE SUN AND KIND OF OFF WHITE IN INSIDE LIGHT.DARK BROWN TO BLACK GILLS WITH ALMOST BLACK SPORES..WHEN I WAS A KID AS LONG AS THEY WERE IN DUNG, HAD A COPPER TOP OR YELLOW SUN ON TOP AND STAINED BLUE WITH BLACK GILLS I ATE THEM BUT THESE DONT HAVE THE COPPER CIRCLE OR YELLO CIRCLE ON TOP AND THE STAIN IS MORE BLACK THAN BLUE...CAN YOU HELP..I WANT TO TRIP TONIGHT..ITS BEEN 15 YEARS AT LEAST SINCE THE LAST TIME..

this really is too bad because i found alot of these most were really small but will be big tonight or tomorrow

my camera sucks but i did cut one in half..like i said these are all growing in cow dung mostly by treelines along fences...it rained really hard yesterday... just thought i would post again before i threw them away..

i took the pic immediatly after i cut it ..i just went and checked its now about 10 minutes later and its about the same..
