Dear yaleforks, your crop promises a great mushroom grower
If you want to make the mushrooms more pink/fucsia give them a better gas exchange and raise the amount of light.
If you want i've a good strain of P.djamor to share for free.
You'll find the pics at: http://www.freesporeprints.org/smf/index.php?topic=171.0

Thank you i may have to take you up on that offer. These started extremely pink but the longer they grow the paler they are becoming. I think my FAE exchange is good as they are growing outside. I will try moving them into more sunlight on my next flush. Could the high tempratures 90F have anything to do with the color fading? Does anyone know any good recipes for pink oysters??? Also another question after i harvest what would be the best way to store them overnight?? Thanks Wes

Store them in the refrigerator. I know that when my grey oysters fruit in higher temps they are almost white. They have alot more color when fruited in cooler temps

Lovely, i am going to try this at some point, except with pf teks spawned to newspaper (no pressure cooker)
Is that just pasturized newspaper or is there anything else added?

Yes just pasturirized paper stuffed tightly into a breadbag.

I have a large stand up cooler i filled it with hot water from my stove 165degrees then added the newspaper and waited 90minutes. The temprature only dropped to 155 degrees in 90 minutes. Then i drained for an hour and loaded the paper with spawn into a breadbag.

That... would explain why my blue oysters fruited at 80-90 degrees F are almost white! Still damn good, though.
