Did anyone notice the spores starting to mature on the first picture. A little gill is showing some color.

Ok! Got home late in the evening from kayaking and noticed the caps have changed to a light tan with a little orange spot on the very top of the cap. Also the gills turned to mottled. WOHOO SPORES!

Oh, so pretty! They definitely look like one of the potent Panaeolus' (or should I be saying Copelandia for clarity?), unlike P. subbalteatus.

You notice how different they look to the wild ones you found? It's interesting...

Given the species' rarity, would you mind printing these and sharing?  (Not suggesting myself- I have my hands full.)  I'm sure there are several people that would love to grow these and have the skill to ensure a successful grow (and therefore continuation of its propagation in N.A.).
