i don't understand why he's putting duck feet though...i've never had diniguan with that...but i guess different regions put different ingredients...
all i remember is pieces of pork, tripe, pork blood, chilis, pork blood. sounds nasty but that shit is REALLY good. savoury.
it's a staple dish in a filipino buffet type party. i remember when my husband first attended one of those family parties, the first thing my aunt said was "try dis! it's chocolate meat! taste good" so he tried it..was like taste good yea and then we told him what it was. haha good times

because when you slaughter a cow or a pig or a chicken...it's economical to use up all of the carcass as food.

well its a good thing that some people can stomach it. because i sure wont ever eat it.
and besides, humans dont have to eat it. im sure dogs would love it in their food too

Pyrobruns, I admire your culinary curiosity and brave cultural endeavors. I'm open minded to food, but not often enough make ethnic dishes with such foreign ingredients. You have inspired me to make weird shit and go shopping for things I would usually stare and poke at from afar

All right jazz! It's always good getting someone to try different foods.
I put chicken feet in my dingnuan because I didn't plan on making it until I came home. So I made do with what I had.

By the way pork blood is extremely nutrient rich. It was either that or the liver or probably both that made me go dayglo all night.
