Does anyone have pics of their KERR jars ....Just wanted to see the orientation of the second lid (non screwing lid) in regards to the primary lid (screwing lid) ....I ask this because PF has said to flip the inner lid up but i dont see how one can boil without getting water in them...Any help would be greatly appreciated

The inner lid is flat with a rim. Normally, it would be put on like this: Rim Flat part /\---------------------------
Flipped, it will be like this:
Rim Flat part ________________________________ V
(d'oh! I wish the post looked like it does while I'm typing it...you get the idea.)
When you put the other lid (ring) on tight, water will not get in.

>dont see how one can boil without getting water in them...
The jars aren?t supposed to be submerged in water. Use a maximum of 1 inch water in your pot with lid or pressure cooker.

You don't need a pic.... Place the lid on the jar, rubber side UP and screw the ring down tight. Simple!

I just boil a big ass pot of water and sink the jarz, lid and rims in the water and boil for 5o minutes, am i doing this wrong???? Plz respond thoroughly anno and tell me why this is wrong? Using a maximum of 1" water in ur pot with lid seems like steaming, whats the difference betw the two? Can boiling them in submerged water cause contamination???

Yes, steaming, right. If you submerge them you will get water entering the jars.
