Presenting both sides of an argument is not bias. Its funny how you consider prohibitionist opinions in an article to be a bias, yet opinions of the other extreme, those which you support, are NOT bias. Come on...

I can only study when I'm high. When I'm not stoned my mind wanders around.
Is this because I've been smoking for so long?? Maybe, but the fact is its the only way I can study. I don't become a walking zombie...I just kind of calm down a little, but nobody at work can tell.

what they need to do is have all the drugs sold via mail therefore there are no "bars" for coke/heroin/anything ya no and the government would have complete control of whether or not u were allowed to buy drugs and there wouldnt b drug dealers b.c who would buy from them when u can have 100% pure drugs delivered right 2 ur door

Theft is the main concern to me, and of course the ones who get caught up in a strong addiction.
But with the money we could treat the new addicts as well as the old ones.
Its kind of one of those things you have to weight the pros and cons. I would love to mail order some LSD...Its been 2-3 years since I've had it, and for this reason I support it.

If drugs were legal, how could the government even pretend to be responsible for one man's meth use unless they themselves came to that person's door and physically inject him with it?!
And besides, by keeping drugs illegal, the DEA makes a BOUNDARY between themselves and the drug ABUSERS...if not for that boundary disagreement perhaps that man could get help and those children wouldn't have to suffer from their fathers' drug addiction, a.k.a. MENTAL/PHYSICAL ILLNESS. With drugs legalized, instead of 'FREE' jail time, all drug addicts, a.k.a. VICTIMS, should have access to 'FREE' professional rehabilitation. Less families broken up this way...
The DEA is really holding some weight on their shoulders by making those kind of statements. They end up taking much more responsibility keeping drugs illegal (tax $ for jail, WOD), while pretending in the meantime that they continue to control the population. Everybody who wants to get high IS ALREADY HIGH . If drugs were legal, the government would be able to wipe their hands clean by simply making drug use a HEALTH ISSUE, instead of a nationally/internationally/politically stigmatizing CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. The crime rate would cool down fast - no more drug smuggling and gang wars.
It's all just a wet dream really....

The opinions of the other extreme are YOUR opinions. Had they been in the articled, you would not have said a word.
And i don't consider any of the points in this article to be extreme. The author never says what his viewpoint is. He simply presents the arguments that many people make.
I really don't see how you can call this biased. Just look at the first 5 paragraphs or so. For every negative view point there is a positive viewpoint.
Finally, the author's conclusion does not imply that drugs should not be legalized or that it is too risky. In, fact it doesn't say that at all and i don't even see how you extracted that idea from it. It simply states the truth, that it will not happen any time soon under our current system of government.

The article doesn't say that we should stick with the current system because its not going to change, it just says its not going to change. And come on, do you really believe that the government will ever legalized all recreational drugs? Maybe weed, MAYBE, but meth? Come on! It just wont happen. No one will ever vote for that bill.

The response from marijuana reform advocates is: "So what if use increases? It's harmless anyway." However, that remains unproved. Researchers worry about the high tar content, the risk of personal injury while someone is "high" and about any effects on students' work.
Such as tar content from smoking cigarettes, the risk of personal injury while someone is "drunk" and about any effects on students' work?
