They are beautiful no doubt. Be real careful if you plan on consuming, I landed myself in the ER with a. muscaria. Definitely look up ways to prepare them. I suggest avoiding just eating them but thats just me.

You should post the recipe and tell me how it goes! I know that its possible to have a good time on these I just wasn't smart enough and likely respectful enough with them to do so.

The top sure looks like muscaria but I don't know about the base of the stem. Your photos don't show much of a bulb or concentric rings. I wouldn't eat it but it might be fine. Can you get some more photos of more specimens showing the bulbous base better?
The photos of the base of the stem that you posted are clear but I don't see the things I am looking for.

I didnt have a camera there and the rings got kinda crushed..if you look at the closeups at the base of the stem you can see three or so rings...barely

I can see the rings but they should be on a bulb at the base of the stem. These look more like they are on a flat section near the base of the stem.
Here is a really bad picture I took of David Arora holding an Amanita muscaria.
You can't see the rings well in this one but the bulb shows up pretty well.

The bottom picture looks like var. formosa. Similar to what I found last month. Don't take my word on it though.
If it is. I found it was good to chop it up and fry it and mix it with some sauteed chicken. And dry the extra and smoke with herb on occasions. Doesn't taste too good but bud covers up the taste, makes the high a litle more dreamy.
