Only games that really made me want a 360 were Bioshock and Ninja Gaiden 2. Well one will be here next month and the other is kinda-sorta confirmed for next spring so I'm good. The 360 does have a good holiday lineup with Gears and Fable 2, but Resistance 2 is the game I want.

When the PS3 first came out I wasn't impressed and talked a lot of bad shit about it. At first it had overheating problems to the point where a PS3 interactive at my job caught on fire. So the 360 I always talked strongly about...this was before I owned my own PS3 and had both systems together. The Ps3 I believe is the better system.
The 360 has a LOT of issues. Everyone knows the famous 'red ring of death' and all the hell it causes from talking to Microsoft to shipping out your system only to be left without anything to do as your friends gain a higher gamer score than you. Also Microsoft advertises the XBOX to be standing up when you should never have your system upright. If your system is shaken in any way while a disk is being played the laser will get real close to the disk and leave a ring. This is not a scratch but burned data off your disk. Its the same as snapping it in half, non fixable. Also the system is clunky and is poorly designed. Having said this, the system does provide hours of fun and though you have to pay for internet use the saying 'you get what you pay for' is true. The service is great and not much lag which the PS3 does get from time to time which is due to the fact that its free.
The PS3 is heavy and at first had high overheating issues. Other than that the system is amazing! Besides the blue-ray the system is more powerful than a 360. The game 'Uncharted: Drakes Fortune' Sony says is there way of saying "this is what a 360 cant handle", which is true. Also the new 'God of War 3' is so high in graphics that if you were to put the new and improved Kratos on a black screen and nothing more, the PS2 can not handle it. I own both systems, including a Wii, if I had to choose between the two I would recommend the PS3, not to mention the fact that all most all of the 360 games require you to have multiple TV's and systems to play multiplayer
