fruiting cobwebed bulk culture

i was experimenting with some well composted manure. i had about a quart of spawn in about 3" of mix in the bottom of the rubbermaid toat. I broke it up for whatever reason at the time, when it was mostly colonized. anyhoo, it got cobbwebb, so i left it sit there cause i was going to use it as outdoor spawn. that was some weeks ago, and noe it's fruiting. I've always thrown out, or scraped off the mold in the past. It's sortof clumpy and loose from when i broke it up, and uncased, so it's impossable to try and treat it .Due to lazieness, i'm low on mushies now, so i was just wondering if any of you guys have had bad experiences with eating mushrooms grown like this.

I guess nobody knows the answer to this. One of the mushrooms is about 6" tall now. I'll probably just cut them off a bit high at the stalk.

i just picked the tallest one at 9.5", 30 wet grams. I can definatly smell the cobbwebb in there. it kind of burnt my sinuses, but then i have allergies.

Success. This substrait was innoculated with half hawiian spawn and half pf. Everything i have harvested so far appears to be hawiian, and now i'm getting a flush of pf off it. I'm not too concerned about the cobbweb anymore. This is awsome, 2 strains on one casing. They are both cubies so there seemed to be no competition as everyone has seemed to think there would be. Competition of cubies seems to be complete and utter bullshit. who made up that theory anyways. I will be trying this again at some point with 3 strains, just to see if i get the same results. Oh, and thanks to everyone for your overwelming response to my problem.
