so lets pretend you wanted to eat some beans today and roll. everything is in line except the music.. where to start? i know what i like to listen too when i get throwed, but i don't like electronic when i'm outside of a certain mind frame. i need some good electronic to roll too. i plan on being in the zone so i want that bomb shit playing in the back ground. which albums are must-hear while rolling?
i only know names of certain bands like shpongle and infected mushroom.. i've never listened to an entire trance/electronic album ever i don't think. so help a nigga out.

Well I don't think you should just listen to that..... Give these a chance! Download all you can of....
Explosions in the Sky
Mogwai(ya everyone knows that one)
Do Make Say Think and...
Broken Social Scene
As for the electronic music, I search my library for the band. So when it comes to Shpongle and Aphex Twin etc... I just do that. But seriously check those suggestions above out. Most are instrumental music. And they are amazing for tripping, or rollin. IMO of course.

Orbital - Middle of Nowhere Awesome album to trip to. Incredible beats.
The Orb - Cydonia Kinda down beat, but lots of awesome sound
Lunar - Hybrid Awaken / Wall of Sound Neat band, and their album is free. http://www.lunarmusic.net/

Damn, torrents are like the only way to get a lot of these.

While i reccomend all the albums, Middle of Nowhere is by far the best.

That's funny I've never forwarded my ports and downloading goes great for me. To improve programs that are just for a few friends to share, like Alliance, which I highly recommend BTW I need them forwarded for that to work better. But using Utorrent, for demoinoid etc has been a breeze. And I can still take from alliance, it's the sharing that hasn't gone as well

windstream, formally alltel before they sold out. im on a really oldschool 1.5mbps dsl line lol. about 3 weeks ago starcraft mysteriously stopped allowing me to host games (even though everything is forwarded and unblocked w/ my router). i do not have any firewalls enabled. i'm usually pretty computer literate when it comes to shit like this and by all means my torrents should be running fine. im thinking its some lame shit like my phone line is dirty or somthin, this happened once before its just a fuckin pain to call them. waits are usually over an hour and a half IME. im trying a few, mainly the pirate bay and isohunt though

yea idk whats up they should be workin fine, its some error on my ISP's end or they blocked the ports there isn't much else it could be. my brother's torrenting abilities are locked also so it leads me to believe its not the router and it is indeed the lame ass ISP's fault

Yea i hate calling ISP's.
I have Sprint Wireless, and EVERY time i call them its 30-45 min to get a rep, then its some dude in India, reading off a sheet, who probably has never even seen a router.
Never mind a wireless card.
And the damn sheet they read off of is the same exact things you have already done like 15 times before you called them.
But i happy all in all with the internet, its basically DSL with a small delay. But I live in the middle of nowhere, so my only option is Satellite, Dial-up, or Wireless (EVDO).
But back on topic, im uploading an album for you.
I have no idea who made it, because i cant find it, or them ANYWHERE. And ive been looking for years.
The Drop Phenomenon - Alien Bass http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4P66TAUW
Insane bass tracks, each song has quotes from alien scifi movies.

fucking bomb! gracias amigo i appreciate it. this is gonna be the last one i download i think i'm gonna go start the day soon.
but yea my isp sucks. its so slow i don't even get anywhere near 1.5mbps i average about 1.1mbps. they tell me that losing .4mbps is "normal," for DSL that just isn't true. i dealt with american reps and they used windstream's gay troubleshooting app though. the last time i called them i told them straight up "can we just skip your little application process i already know beyond any doubt that it is indeed on your end. i need a tech check my connection individually. my internet would die for a whole day or 2 and then come back for one day only, then die again. it ended up that one of the addresses that one machine used to send me internet wasn't mine or something. took the bastards 4 days to figure this out too. keep in mind this is when DSL was very primitive in technology and we paid ~50/month. it was ridiculous, i was 15(lol) & paid for the internet bill because i was the one who wanted it and my brother didn't have a job to help.

For electronic-ish albums by artists (as opposed to DJ mixes), here's some random stuff I'd recommend:
The Orb - Bicycles & Tricycles or The Dream (cydonia? wtf) Orbital - In Sides Matthew Dear - Leave Luck to Heaven Playgroup - Playgroup Praga Khan - Pragamatic (if you want some older-sounding ravey stuff) Luke Vibert - Lovers Acid Fischerspooner - Odyssey Felix da Housecat - Kittenz and thee Glitz
these are all pretty accessible albums if you're not all about the electronic music
