Dunked-Freaked-Thinkin about Redunking
    #888336 - 09/17/02 01:28 PM (19 years, 16 days ago)

here is the situation:
I dunked 4 of my cakes after birthing because there was condensation on the jar and someone told me that it meant the cakes had no water. I dunked like they told me too, but then realized, 6 hours later, that the condensation was probably the cakes having to much water. And I thought that maybe dunking it wouldnt be a good idea, fear of drowning the cakes. I took them out of the fridge and emptied out the water and just allowed them to sit for the night. Can I redunk? And If I do/should, how long? ANother 12 or just another 6 hours? thx

Fill the jars back up with distilled or spring water, cover tightly (seal them) and put them back in the fridge for 12 hours. Then birth them to your terrarium on some wet verm and put wet verm on top of 'em. You'll be amazed at the results if your conditions are correct (temp, rh, air exchange). Dunking works wonders.

I'll probably always do drugs, so that just contributes to the addiction to The Shroomery... It's a vicious circle of bliss. :tongue2:
