No it doesn't.  At least one president had Polio therefore there is a 2.3% chance that our next president will also have Polio... kinda stupid, yes?  Your logic is no better.  I would expect a math major to know better.

ya i no, do u no why though that logic is flawed
like for instance every pres has been white so far, but the prob of the next pres being white obviously isnt 100%
the point i was making is, is that its very common more common than most ppl think for a VP 2 become pres
the answer was, is that each event is independent, like tossing a coin

Didnt seem to fearful to me at the RNC.  She laid it into Obama, gore, and the rest of the far far left pretty good.

mccain/palin = less govt., less tax, fend for your self. sounds good to me. Seems like the only people who dont like those ideas, is the lazy people who wouldnt know what to do without the govt. giving them a hand out. We dont need any more rules, or any more people telling us how to run our lives.

There should be a libertarian party.

what the hell does that even mean?

So as long as you take things from a small percentage of the population its good?

All the blacks should be stripped of their assets and redistributed?  Or only folks that have lots of the quantity being stripped?  So people with big houses should have them seized and replaced with one bedroom ranches?

What justification do you have to support this?

I'm still waiting for your demonstration that the rich pay lesser tax rates than poor- a statement which makes me question how you could possibly be making an informed choice as to taxation/policy.

And I'm still waiting for even one example of some component of the income tax or any rule/law that would allow a rich person to pay less tax than a poor person under any circumstances by the virtue of them having more money?

The Republican party seems happy to expand the government and continue to tell you how to run your lives (see: war on drugs, ban on abortion, ban on gay marriage). If you support small government, then the Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats. What you want is the Libertarian party.

McCain supports tax cuts for everyone (i.e. no income tax, and lower overall tax), he also doesnt believe in extra tax for successful people, if thats what you mean.

Quick question how is Obama for the middle class when he talks about raising taxes, and raising insurance req. for businesses.  Do you know what happens when you require businesses to give health insurance to people?  You shut down small business, and and people loose jobs, and big business cuts back jobs, and raises their prices on their product.  I own a small business, and am barely making it as it is, so i understand the magnitude of "req." by the govt..  This would put me and many others out of business, and people out of jobs.

I am in no way a republican or a democrat.  Please dont get the wrong idea.  I am for anyone who has a solid plan, and a way to accomplish something.  I dont like when people bs me by just saying what i want to hear without telling me how.

I think both parties suck to tell you the truth.  They both restrict freedom, and do not do what our fathers originally intended the govt to do. The govt. was established for our protection (i.e. national security, military, police, fire etc., not to tax us on everything, and stop people from living their lives.)

As of right now however the republicans are for less govt., less tax, and more freedom, so how can anyone argue it?

none of the parties have grasped the fact that increasing

There is absolutely nothing that leads me to believe that the Republicans want any smaller of a gov't than the Democrats. They of course say they do, but is there any reason to think it's true?
