But Seriously folks, Isn't it the food the cow eats that makes the poo right for shrooms? Why should I flush mine down the crapper when I can sterlilize and use it (and laugh even harder when My friends eat bunch an are tripping on my doots) And maybe I'l lose few pounds in the process? Or at least scrub my colon squeaky clean...Don't worry I'm not going to post the picture of my poo factory...

In a word yes,composted human feces is an excellent manure,when added to wheat straw.A strict vegan diet rich in leafy greens and light on legumes is optimal.This is all according to a local mad scientist who DEFINATELY would know his schit :grin:

His reasoning is truly Mackennaoid in that he feels growing his shrooms on his own excrement is closer to the symbiotic relationship written of in the introduction of the work by the Mackenna brothers under the psuedonyms of Oss and Oeric.I personaly have not tried his shrooms as it is far closer to another human than I feel comfortable with :crazy:

I guess it comes to how committed to being "one" with the shroom one is.Peace WR :grin:

He's right. you definatly should grow them in your own shit. it's way more convienent. The key is to eat lots and lots of fiber to get the consistancy you want. put some hay in the blender and make a shake. it really isn't that bad.
