SMell while Drying

Wuzzup i have some shrroms drying in a lil container with Disectent(sp) when i open it it smells really funky mushy smell. Im no fan of eating or smelling shrooms so maybe its just me.But the smell is so damn strong kinda yucky. R they still ok? Is it normal for the smell to get strong like when drying?

That does not sound good. Did you try fan drying first. My friend does this by putting fresh fungus in an aluminium screen folded into an envelope and hung directly in front of the fan. this predries them well and then she puts them in a dessicant chamber. Try that.

sounds (or smells - really) like they are going bad. I've had some shrooms that smelled funky before but i still ate them. If you feel lucky you can eat them but otherwise you might want to wait for a new flush.
