Mushrooms found on the way home from school

No im not posting thinking there are magic or anything, Just found them on the way home from school. The top 2 were found on the grass at school...Quite a few lil patches of them here and there. The one the bottom was found on the sidewalk. And the lil one was found on my lawn. A patch of them always comes up after rains.

C'mon, Niggy, you know by now that you need more description for a good ID. Were any trees near them (what kind - roughly)? Spore print color? Bruising? Odors?

The upper left one is odd. My first thought is Marasmius, but the gills look too crowded - maybe Collybia?

The upper right one suggests Hygrophorus from its appearance. Do the gills feel sort of waxy when you crush them under your fingertip?

The lower left one looks like Marasmius oreades which grows in lawns everywhere in large numbers.

The lower right one is an Agaricus. But we need to know about bruising and odor before we have any chance of IDing it accurately.

im pretty sure the third one is eidable (spell ?), it grows on lawns and people say it can be made for a good soup... but dont eat it :laugh:

None of em were by trees. Thats the best descripition I can give ya, I wrote exactly where I found em.

Looked like an Agaricus to me too. But found on a sandy roadside by some weeds and crap. I see them around my subdivsion sidewalks after rains.

Never knew mushrooms could grow in a place like that.

all those mushrooms are edible
fairy ring and agaricus

Hmm yeah top ones I found on horton grass. Thats the only kind i've seen there.

Sweet I have edible mushrooms on my lawn :smile:

in new minas, a sidewalk is the gravel unpaved shoulder of a main street or highway.
one might also include a boulevard
