Cambodians Look Like Ethiopians??

My friend has started playing with several new (to her) strains lately. Right now, she has a few batches of cam's starting to flush. Actually, one of them started about 2 weeks ago. They came up 1 or 2 at a time, and they were pitiful. They looked very healthy, but compared to most cubs she'd grown, they were like little mini-me's! Veils were/are breaking at 4" max, when she is used to other strains maturing at 6-10", when provided with identical conditions and substrate. The growth is sparse, spindly, eeny-weeny and ongoing - no discernible "flushes". Every day, there are 1-3 teeny goodies in there - - as she plucks 1-2, another 1-2 come along. Continuous, steady. aggravating as h*ll, and the final results are pitiful. The casing is about 9x13, and about 6" deep, in a self enclosed fruiting environment, allowing a minimum of 6" above casing layer for growth (easily expanded by replacing plastic lid with saran wrap as fruit comes close to maturity). It is aired a minimum of 3 times a day, and up to 7 or 8 on weekends. The cambos are being treated the same as her other current projects, but they are performing very poorly in comparison. The first cam box is seed spawned into bulk past straw, compressed & cased. The second cam box (which is now acting identical to the first) is seed spawned into bulk past 3-in-1:verm:straw at a 50:30:20 ratio. Do they always look like this?

I guess maybe I'll have to break down and find somebody willing to share their horse poop with me. I have 3 batches of this strain going now, and every single one is pumping out scrawny fruits. I'm getting a few more now, 7-10 at a time, and still flushing continuously, but one good size eq would equal as much as every cambo I've harvested so far.

I am working with grains. Mostly seed to date, but my first rye & wheat casings are pinning now. Geez....why can't somebody just bag up horse crap and sell it at Home Depot? The big city has it's drawbacks....
