You can probably import mimosa hostilis rootbark without problems. It's typically sold as "incense" and is not specifically regulated in most countries. Check your country's drug laws to be sure.

cheers guys,
arbalest: and i'll do the same for you
isaacein: you would think so, but then again this is australia, i checked shaman-australis.com and they said its illegal to import mimosa hostilis and some guy even said he had seeds taken off him by authorities.
cvegasgo: do u know where your mate purchased them from, might be helpful with the way certain people package these kinda things and hopefully slip under the radar.

Its possible to slip it under the radar but if you get caught you could be in really big trouble, just depends if you think its worth the risk.
Some species of wattle have DMT in the bark. You could use them. You can buy MAOI on the net. I would be interested if there are any natural MAOI commonly found in Australia, because it would be cool to make a purely Australian brew.

Yeah we can use Acacia species as a source of DMT which can be found naturally and also bought from shaman-australis legally(I'm pretty sure at least the seeds can be), I'll see what I can find for the MAOI part.
helter_skelter: You have probably been on this site but just in case: www.erowid.org/psychoactives/
You can check out the ayahuasca area there, and also for the acacia bit: http://www.erowid.org/plants/acacia/acacia.shtml

Removing bark from the acacia tree roots is damaging for the tree and in many parts its an endangered species, please just order your shit online and grow it. Theres sites in australia that sell DMT based plants just use those, Domestic mail wont give a shit if your importing bark or plants im sure.
peace and ebay

hey sorry its been so long i've done a bit of research and i came across this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychedelic_plants
it covers a good range of the acacia species and as i was looking at it i had http://www.herbalistics.com.au/shop/allprods.php and shaman_australis up so i could see from the species studied what contains the most DMT. some thigns i found interesting: i found acacia maidenii had 0.6% NMT and DMT, there is an acacia acuminata which apparently contains 1.5% tryptamines and also the the acacia obtusifolia contains 0.4-.05% DMT.
a few other plants that grabbed my attention were Mimosa ophthalmocentra which according to wiki has more DMT then the mimosa hostilis

Alright so basically you can import Mimosa hostilis into the country but whether it's legal or not is the problem.
Import conditions for Mimosa spp.
Now according to this link Mimosa hostilis/tenuiflora or tenuiflorum as it's listed on the bottom of table three is prohibited although I've known a few people who have had no trouble having Mimosa imported in but I have heard of few cases where it has been a problem but all the importer had to deal with was the costs of customs cleaning bill.
I suggest you read the whole page and decide for yourself whether you want to go ahead and import some, it seems that there's a bigger deal made then necessary over this issue in regards to penalties and such.

Need DMT source and an MAOI
Some (not all) Acacia sp. do seem to have some nice active ingredients
MAOI would be like Syrian rue or b caapi
Peace and G'day mates
