Question about Yeti

Simon Posford in his piece 'the herb garden' states that "you have to go in trance and then you can find a Yeti easily" and also "Yeti is one of the Shaman's God".

Can someone point me links on the net about Shamans and the Yeti ? I would like to read about that relation, if its real.
