Sporeworks great service! Brown syringes?

Im getting into edibles and with all the positive things Ive read about Sporeworks, I decided to order from them. I did the pick 4, which was an awesome deal compared to anywhere else I had been looking. The package arrived today and even had an extra syringe included (different than the others Id ordered too)!! Thanks Sporeworks!

Quick ?: Is it okay that the syringes are the color of apple juice? Ive never ordered cultures before (just spore syringes) and Im concerned they may have gotten too hot on their trip here (my package got delayed due to bad weather and the holiday weekend, taking 4 extra days to reach me, and temps are still over 100 here). Im going to try one out soon, but looking for some peace of mind in the meantime :tongue:

The brown coloration is the nutrient.  I think they are using peptone and/or malt which will tint the solution.

Thanks Workman. I know whenever I make a liquid culture it only comes out barely tinted yellow, but then I use karo. I had checked Sporework's FAQs but didn't see anything about it, so I'm glad someone here could confirm the heat probably hadn't damaged them.

I agree; my experience with Sporeworks was fantastic.  I don't even have enough good things to say about them. 

Could not possibly have been better.  First grow was a RESOUNDING success.
