Trip Toys anyone?

How many of you take interest in using some sort of trip toy during your psychedelic experiences?
Only toy i like using is my Laserpod. Whenever I get a good trip going ill turn it on with some good music playing and watch the blue LED clouds become 3d and form into people and other cool visuals. its like having a big cloud in the middle of your room.
what do you guys like to mess around with?

I always plans these fun activities and trip toys before tripping but to be honest once I start tripping I forget all about them, or lose interest pretty quickly. Koosh balls, lights and such are only fun for so long. At least for me anyway.

astrojax! haha... Three light up balls on a string that you can do tricks with! They're neat, and really fun to play with. I could not only entertain myself, but many other people if we're in the dark.

Yeah Laser Pods are awsome as well as astrojacks! Artifact, have you seen the Green lasers they have out? They can shine for miles and look pretty sweet thru the trees! Not to mention how cool campfires look when you shine she light back and forth thru the smoke! Have you guys seen those glowing light orbs (they have spinning lights inside them and change colors)? I really like those alot too, especially onb N20:)

You can point at anything at night, and the beam is visible as far as the eye can see. highly recommended

BTW This is a serious laser, not one of 5mw you buy on ebay or at stores. It must be handled accordingly.
I take privacy very seriously for all shroomery members and will delete all information about buyer after item is shipped.

Thi is a serious toy. I am selling for 69.95 plus 5.95 S/H USPS. You need FDA clearance to import these since they are class III lasers. I have a manufacurer in HK, they make bette lasers than the Chinese do...I bought a few from China and they were crap. I could not find any other pens than the Chinese manufactured online, another reason you might want to wait till I am up and running.
My personal feeling is that I really enjoyed this toy over the LP because it puts me in control, ie using my hands walking around outside etc...LP you just sit and watch and thats it. I had one of these at AllGood this year and it was insane in the fog up in the mountains. I am taking some pictures tonight and will put them up here later. Plan and simple this was a pu$$y magnet at the show.
The graphic artist just finished the logos and the web designer should be finished later his week setting up merchant services etc...

I saw one of those at a festival and told myself I would deff. buy one but it's kind of expensive for a toy with no warranty. I've just had bad luck with lasers in the past, breaking too easily and whatnot.

Once you click usa it makes you remove it from the cart since lasers >5mw can't be shipped into the USA
From the site you referenced, "FDA regulations require that customers from the United States do not purchase lasers greater than 5mW"

No fucking thank you, anything in the direction of a trip toy feels so fucking trivial and superficial while tripping (and by extension, I feel the same if I partake). No, I can't stand the inane while on a psychedelic, all that interests me is nature and spiritual awakening.

what qualifies as non-inane? Is there chanting involved? A lot of staring into space with grand thoughts of transcendence? Do tibetan bells and incense come into the picture?

Anyone that ever has taken pictures in dark knows it is no easy task here are a couple of pictures playing around. By no means does it do the toy any justice as to its depth of possibilities.

Everyone has their ideal trip. Sometimes I like it quiet, sometimes I like to get funky. All I know is I can't put that pen down if when I'm not tripping and I am somewhat of a minimalist. I guess point being everyone is different.

TBH I woulden't want to mess around with a 30mW laser when I'm tripping... That can do some permanent damage.

This is a must have for when you are going to be in that state of mind. Simply push the button and turn the cap and watch 30 stars turn into an infinite number of stars that dance across the sky. You will see a solid laser beam shoot acros the sky for miles. You won't be able to let go of this pen the entire journey.
Product Specs: ÂÂ-laser color:green laser -Comes with Professional carrying case -Wavelength:532nm Green Laser -Battery: 2 AAA Includ -Product Size:6.5"Long x 1/2"Wide -weight: 4oz"
I am sorry if it is bad manner to promote my site on here, please let me know if it is not cool.
TBH I woulden't want to mess around with a 30mW laser when I'm tripping... That can do some permanent damage.
it would be a dope trip toy but that would bother me too.

Anything that basically shines or glows could be a trip toy
Take a cellphone for instance...

I like to turn on the camera like I am taking a picture and then put the whole display screen against one of my eyes and use the lens as a way of seeing around. It's pretty cool when it's bright, because the response time of the camera is low so you get a lag in your vision and some cool blurring.

I never got into any type of toy, but show me a crack in the wall or a broken cigarette and I'll be entertained for hours.

Let us know when you get your site up, I might want one of the pens. After some reading it sounds like they go dim very fast. Within a dozen seconds of a new battery. Is that true?

@ whoever said Poi, have you tried Fire Poi while tripping? this summer I fire-danced a whole bunch on acid, including some Poi stuff. fucking awesomely intense, it was at a huge gathering, maddeningly deep tribal trance music blaring all-the-while. good times.

I had the dimming issues with the China Made pens. The issue is that the lasers are not cooled, nothing to do with power really. I have found that the HK made pens have barely any reduction due to heat since they are manufactured correctly and vent. Besides, my pens o through two quality control checks and are sold with a 90 day warranty. I should be up in a week I will send you a pm so I have your contact info on here.
Don't get me wrong, I have tripped many, many times and lost myself to the simplest situations that all of the sudden had profound importance. That is what it is about, shutting down the part of your brain that interfers with you to enjoy life as your suppose too. Example:Pay bills, meeting scheduled, pick the kids up, go to class, take a test tomorrow etc...When you go down that road, you go into the journey of the mind as it is meant to be felt and heard, not all that crap tht really amounts to nothing at the end. Once the mind is shut down to the irrelevant chatter you can appreciate what has been there all along.
Incase I have broken any rules here, my intention is become an advertiser on shroomery once my site is up and running. I don't want to spread any bad vibes by trying to peddle my pens on here if it is against the rules.

Most amazing thing in the thread is the reactable. I remember seeing videos for that years ago while it was still in heavy development. So awesome that they hope to have them on the market by the end of 2008. According to Wikipedia, Bjork actually performed live with one, and is the only professional musician to have done so. Great stuff.
As some others have mentioned, the 30mw lasers look great, but I don't want anything that dangerous in my hands whilst trippin.

JUst keep itaway from your eyes and everyone elses and it would be safe. I have gone down that road plenty of times with no problems. I usually end up doing he stupidest stuff too when I am faced.

I've been so fucked I wouldn't even be able to comprehend what a laser is, or what holding it might imply, or even realize that I am holding anything at all because the boundaries between my skin and the world around me have melted away.
So with that in mind, it seems like anything could happen. Is it likely you're just going to blast yourself in the eye with the beam while you're this torn? No, probably not, but it could happen, and that's enough to keep me away. And really, there's so many alternatives, many of which are in this thread. And mother nature is the greatest alternative of all.
