I said something about Peter Pan. I love the book/movie, but I would NEVER ask for it for my birthday. If you are 40+ years old and you ask for it for your birthday then something is wrong.

If you are slowly reverting back to childhood then something isn't right.

But what if you're happier this way?

of course there is risk in that. i recommend spacing lsd trips out a lot. if you HAVE to trip, take some mushrooms. natural seems to be better then extremely processed drugs for obvious reasons and i have only experienced strange weeks/months from extended period of frequent ecstasy and lsd. but i have always felt like i returned to relative normal after long breaks and lots of 5-htp and vitamin intake.

don't do too much acid. its that easy. don't figure you'll probably be fine, don't try to find ways around it, just dont.

you are right
you have been exceedingly fortunate
exceedingly.
it is good to question sobriety,
but it is essential to know what it is.
take a few days off
and maybe a few more.
you will still be exceedingly fortunate.
amber preserved pure lsd25, you say.
hmmm???

Well you know I can't really answer this I'm purely saying this from just seeing my cousin. He was a very good baseball player, and did pretty well in school. Now he can't live by himself, and has to live with his parents who will soon die and he will probably end up in a mental institution. I mean...Maybe he's happier, but do you really want to end up having other people care for you? I'm just the type of person that I would hate to be a burden on others.

Lottttttts, but by the sound of things this guy was too taking a lot. My cousin may also have some type of underlying mental illness, but looking at the family it doesn't seem likely...Everything points to the LSD causing this.

Either way I mean I love the drug its awesome, but there is a time and a place for it, however, it certainly isn't everyday.

Before he comepletely lost it he was eating 10 strips like nothing. This was also back in the late 70's when the stuff was usually more reliable dose wise.

bump

are there any mental risks to taking LSD constantly for a few weeks, if following a band or on a trip. Small doses, one or two hits, two to three times a week. Sometimes day after day, but mainly every other day?

I expect you would feel off for a few weeks as your brain readjusts but would you be alright?

given before this lsd binge you were a moderate user doing it every few months.

take too much of it, too often, you risk becoming jaded and bored with it..speaking from experience

there is a risk, you will get spun out and slow if you dose all the time, i have learned in time that moderation IS key.

Moderation is key.  I have definatley noticed residual effects from my psychedelic use... but I don't mind too much.  But to much of anything with fry the eggs

I wouldn't recommend more that once a month for most any psychedelic. I try to alternate between lsd and shrooms. Have a tripped more frequently than this-yes many times. I have learned a little from those days though.

the only risk you run is tolerance.  if you are of sound mind you can do acid your whole life.  look at albert hoffman,  he died over a hundred years old.

No one was ever contesting whether or not reasonable (less than 10kmics) LSD dosing would cause damage to your body...because it doesn't. We are examining the long-term psychological effects of excessive LSD use at the moment though...of which there have been few studies to my knowledge.

Ok, so then why is it of ANY relevance that Albert Hoffman lived to 102? The status of your physical health is completely, 100% separate from your mental health, which is something far more abstract...

we were talking about risk.  not mental or physical health specifically.  I mentioned being of sound mind because the only known ailments brought on by over doing lsd use are issues of mental health (post traumatic stress and the likes).
