UPDATO!!!
I birthed the GT bag into some coir. Yep. I didn't take pictures, I was too worried about keeping things sterile and working quickly so here's what I did.
* Boiled a big pot of water to rapid boil * Dumped 1 brick of Eco-Earth coco-coir * Let sit for 3 hours (I did temp checks and it stayed above 160 the whole time) * Drained coir to proper moisture content * mixed thoroughly with 5/6 of my GT bag (approx) * used the rest of the colonized grains to create a top layer over the whole thing.
The box I used for the 'Tray' was 16'' long, and 11'' wide, about 5 inches deep.
Here is the top of it, you can see the whole white which is just colonized grains. They are already 'fluffing' out and growing back together. it's been about 48 hours, so these aren't fresh pictures.

Sides

I used about as much bulk to spawn as I would ever use, but it seems okay, just as long as no trich starts in on my coir!!!!!!!!!
So basically , moving foward, this should take about a good 10 more days to colonize. I could have fruited my bag in-vitro, but WTF is the point on using grains if not to spawn to bulk?
Wish me luck that those nasty contams don't show up.
Just one question, do you think I pasturized the coir proper? Boiling water>3 hour soak @ ~180?
The coir was still warm when I used it, but not hot. I know it didn't damage because the myc is growing fine. I'm just worried about killing all those stupid contams. I hate them.

Looks great to me! I think you will be fine on the coir. Just keep an eye out for contams to appear. It looks pretty well mixed up so if u keep the temp right it should be colonized very quickly. Good luck, good vibes for no contams going ur way!

OMg late updatez. I lost my internet at home and I have been without since.
All is well I am glad to say. Both of my trays are colonized and cased. I Cased with straight verm, 1/4 inch or so. Placed back into dark for 3 days, then into fruiting chamber. Fruiting is 4-tier greenhouse with cool mist humidity 1 hour on, 2 hours off.
The only thing I have a question about is these 'spikes' i'm getting on my PEU tray (s). It is VERy present all over my casings. It grew up through the verm casing and they are little 'pillars' or 'colums' or 'spikes' , they are strong, if i push on them they don't smush easily. I see no sign of pinning on the PE trays I have, but my GT tray is already pinning on the sides I see. I have seen about 100 very small groups of pins with little brown heads so far, it's hard to get pictures through the plastic and with condensation. But here are these spikes.
I read that RR wrote these can signal a good fruiting strain. I'm glad because I have choose to run with this PE strain as my number one. I have made myc water with a fully colonized bag, and made backup LC's from that and stored them in the fridge.

This is an old bag (one of the first ones) that I had, I buried it ourside, and it grew this this morning.

Au- Revoir!
