Dung Brothers (Fraud)

OK, I'm not sure what section this belongs in but I'll place it here because it gets the most traffic. I've made quite a large order, 100 lb., from dung brothers. I E-mailed them one and they replied that they had received my money order and were waiting for the next batch of compost. Well, that was some time ago and I've sent several e-mails with no response. I'd advise everyone not to buy from them, it's a fraud. Also I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to get my money back but who should I call about this? The local police? The local police doesn't seem like they could do anything to a company in another state. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How long has it been since you've ordered? I've ordered from Dung Bros. before, and while they are slow at times they have always come through in the end..

It does take a while to make up a batch of compost, it's not done overnight like making a spore syringe.

However, I thnk they should have just said 'please reorder in a couple months when it should be ready'.

I definately would not involve the local police. The less they are involved in any aspect of your life is very good indeed. If you don't eventually end up satisfied, I'd just chalk your dough up to a lesson learned. Good Luck!

I agree with Fred. The police are useless. Although if you really want to cause trouble just contact the Attorney General's office in the state that the company is in. they will fuck with them but good.
