The only thing I fear is that someone will call me to do something. I suppose thats why its best camping alone or something. I think I would do it with one person I know I can trust who would do it with me. A member of the fam who is a ex heroin addict. He has experienced Ibogane at the treatment center in BC.

i dont think ayahuasca is the important thing its spiritual cleansing any who unless your staying in south american south american magical plants arent gona help you that much. im not saying they wont do what they will but its not practical. if you ever heard of fredic alan wolf he talks about that as he saw not only south american ones, but south west american ones, druids and more

I always understood ayahuasca to be a primarily communal experience.
I'm kind of on the fence about trying to figure it out for myself or having someone teach me how... I have no idea who would do that for me. Either way I don't think I'd do it alone.

I dont understand your logic you are saying that because these plants are not native to this area they are not as suited for our use?

something like that i dunno how much do you know about earth magic? as i said fredic alan wolf talks about this sort of stuff. he wrote The Eagle's Quest: A Physicist's Search for Truth in the Heart of the Shamanic look into that
if you can find it watch SHAMANIC PHYSICS its him talking about what went into making that book
Shamans see the world as made up of vibrations, using resonance between individuals to effect healings. In part one of this two-part series, Fred Alan Wolf discusses his efforts to explain shamanic realities in terms of modern physics. He suggests that shamans interact with parallel universes and are able to enter into the world of the dead. In part two, Wolf describes in greater length his interactions with shamans among the North American Sioux Indians, in the jungles of Peru and in England. He confesses that he observed many things among the shamans that were unexplainable to him in terms of modern physics, noting that the shamans he worked with were loving healers who touched him in a deep and nurturing manner. Fred Alan Wolf is a physicist and author of Space Time and Beyond, Taking the Quantum Leap, The Body Quantum, Star*Wave, Parallel Universes and The Eagle's Quest.
it used to be on you tube

I come from a culture of upright Christians and alcoholics. I think my choice to partake in the strange sacraments of alien cultures from foreign lands was a wise one.

Me too, honestly seems LSD is more "indigenous" to my own culture - a creation of a western European laboratory and a revival of an ancient Greek entheogen.

I suppose amanita is in line with my Germanic roots as well. Have yet to seriously try it though, just smoked a tiny bit as a smoking mixture for weed which actually had a light clearheaded effect.
Seems like a pretty gnarly entheogen though...

I'm like equal parts German, Swiss, and Dutch, which I suppose is still just Germanic overall.
to the revival of the Nordic shaman!
I visited Leiden in the Netherlands recently... I do not hesitate to say it was the single chillest place I have ever been to. Much chiller than Amsterdam, or anywhere else in the world to my knowledge. Very easy to get along with people even if you don't know Dutch. It was the first time I ever went there but I felt so at home it was ridiculous.
