IVE Read so much, and followed step by step of the pf tek.  The pf tek says you should wait until you see pins forming withint the jars then birth.  Many others say you shouldnt wait and birth right after colonization?  WHO IS RIGHT?  This is driving me crazy!  Does birthing affect yield?  SOMEONE SHOOT ME! :grin:

The PF strain (Matias Romero) has a tendency to pin very quickly in vitro (in the jar.) Many other strains do not pin as quickly. If it were me, I would go ahead and birth.

see, thats whats cool about this hobby..... the more i learn, the more i realize that in a few areas, there is no RIGHT way to do things.....its up to you to try them out and find what works best for you.....new ideas are always comming into play, and what may be working today may be thrown out for a new idea tomorrow.....just go with the flow, follow the teks till you get a handle on how shrooms work.....then experiment :grin:

I like to birth 4-7 days after 100% colonization. But hey, I'm impatient. But my shit always works. L8r.
