Feel-good songs ~
    #870684 - 09/08/02 10:00 PM (21 years, 6 months ago)

Whenever I feel like I'm going to fall into a bad trip, or if I'm just going nuts, I always bring out a certain play list of songs that just make me feel good, soothed, and happy.

Aimee Mann "Wise Up"

Bob Marley "No Woman No Cry"

Coldplay "In my Place"

Stevie Ray Vaughan "Life by the Drop"

Red Hot Chili Peppers "Soul to Squeeze"

Pink Floyd "Breathe"

Sublime "Santeria"

U2 "In a Little While"

Pixies "Where is My Mind"

Jimi Hendrix "The Wind Cries Mary"

Enjoy peepssss.

I think Stevie Ray Vaughan is one of those musicians whose music will never grow old.

I regret not discovering him sooner, before his passing in an airplane/helicopter accident.

Unfortunately, not many people know about him. I think he was a musical genius when it came to modernizing the blues.

"Life Without You"
"Little Wing(cover)"
"Voodoo Chile"
"Superstition"
"Testify"

I guess my definition of feeling good isn't the same as your guys'...

Slayer - In The Name of God
Slayer - Threshold
Slayer - Spill The Blood
Slayer - Here Comes The Pain
Pantera - Immortally Insane
Pantera - Good Friends And A Bottle Of Pills
Pantera - Cemetary Gates
Pantera - Avoid The Light
Actually, anything by Pantera, Metallica, Slayer, Death, or even Nirvana... I like to mix it up.

I can't listen to the stuff you guys do, it just doesn't seem right. Maybe I need help... There's a thought.  :smirk:

Led Zepplins "Song Remains The Same "

Altered State whole album ;[dos]:  the waking dream is awesome trip song
