Life without conflict

Every day I dream of the day when I live with no conflict in my life. I know one day it will be possible.
I wish, however, that more people would have the same goal. It would be much easier that way.

Conflict is unavoidable in a world of opinionated people. Sometimes it's necessary, else people will walk all over you.

even if we didn't share opinions and were all hunting our own food, there would still be conflict, both inter species and with others

If other's do not share the same goal, you can bend them to your will through force or crush them beneath your heel.

You think so but in reality life would get old quik. Humans are animals and without conflict or struggle there is no motivation to progress.
Without conflict you could not appreciate peace we all need it, even if we think that we dont bordom would set in rather quikly.

A world without conflict would be boring. Sometimes you just need a little dissonance to keep things entertaining.

And what of lava lamps?
Hard to get angry when you are wasting precious moments of miraculous life stuck in a drug-induced trance staring at a back-lit gelatinous colored blob floating in oil.

Arnold the kandy raver
to the op: like thought, conflict is impermanent. realization of how these things pass can free us somewhat from our binds to them. we have the ability to shape and mold our mental paradigms. these paradigms can be associated with little to much conflict depending on the choices we make and paths we take in life.
many experience much more conflict than they need. conflict which occurs on the job is taken home and indulged in, when calmness and serenity could be experienced. instead of swimming in this stream of conflict, why not practice releasing this tension and stepping outside of the stream? we experience much conflict because we haven't found this release... it builds up and ingrains itself within our minds so much that we can't step outside of ourselves and realize our place in the madness. when we realize conflict, we take a step back and see it in its process. this seeing is release... you will feel it, and see it. conflict occurs when there is opposition. identifying with thought and emotion is our way of opposing and avoiding what we are - presence. at our base we are presence, this is hard to really know and experience when all we know is our thoughts. identifying with the present moment and tuning in to awareness will tune us into ourselves. instead of tuning in to various mental and emotional patterns, we tune into what we are before all of this racket occurs.
half hour to an hour a day of observing these inner patterns can help much. with more practice, it becomes easier to step outside of conflict and release the built up tension. it's not something that happens with the snap of a finger. and in some cases it probably won't ever happen.
i have found that it's necessary to avoid any situations which may bring rise to such negative and unconscious states, such as various work places, types of people, shit drugs, etc. after finding a job that I actually somewhat enjoy, there has been significantly less conflict. my brother is miserable and he doesn't even know why. if he knew why, he probably wouldn't be miserable. though he doesn't like to question himself... i tell him to trip more. he works a shitty job and it makes him absolutely miserable. he denies this fact. ever since he started this job, he's been going downhill into lifelessness and lack of awareness. it's a shame to see people rot away like this, but it will always happen as long as we're here.

It would be if there was also no challenge. If everyone had constructive challenges to face and meet everyday, there would be no need for conflict and life wouldn't be boring.
You also said a mouthful in that, I bet most all conflict stems from boredom frustration.
I think conflict really stems from people not having enough healthy challenges in their life. Without constructive places to channel our energy that make us feel "accomplished" , it's easy to seek out conflict as a means for discharging excess energy and feeling 'accomplished" if you can dominate/win the conflict.
Constructive challenges could replace conflicts and no one would get bored.
