urban shamanism

thinking about a little urban shamanism here to help kick nicotine addiction
maybe go into the woods for a few days, clear my mind from usual external habbits, and then take some lsd and ride away in the sunset
i'm sure i'll follow up with more practical ways to cope, but it seems this will help if i do it right.
any experiences with intentionally using psychedelics like a medicine to influence a particular mindset/habbit? do anything to create an illusion? like choice of environment, ritual/activities, exc? any experiences or suggestions?

Using one drug to cancel out another drug is a bad thing to do. Shaman's never used their enthogens to heal themselves. They used them to propel themselves to the other realms of this reality. Once their they would finish their mission and heal their village or the person that needs healing.
