Another ID request from Washington
    #8814468 - 08/23/08 08:28 AM (10 years, 28 days ago)

Habitat:
Found growing on a lawn after some thunderstorms.

Everything is a light yellow with the stem being more of an off-white.

I tried making a spore-print but it didnt seem to leave one even with water on a light paper.

Cap was just a couple centimeters in diameter.

Any help appreciated!

Conocybe apala var. albipes also known as Conocybe lactea and Conocybe albipes.  It's poisonous.
