I found it at a community college(they say it's...the road...to success?) It was growing on the roots of a tree. I don't know what type of tree it was, but it was the only one that mushrooms were growing on. There were also conk shaped mushrooms, the same kind, growing about 6-12 inches up on part of the trunk. The spores are reddish-brown and the mushroom is very tough and rubbery. It has a strong mushroomy(best I can describe it) smell. What do you think it is?
FUCK YEAH!!!!! Oh man, I thought it was Reishi, I just had no idea they grew around here and I didn't want to seem stupid. This is awesome, I'm actually growing Reishi right now, this big boy will keep me healthy until harvest time. :):)
