Do you ever go looking up song lyrics only to find that you have to choose between a ton of annoying websites cluttered with loud (both visually and playing irritating sound effects), flashy advertisements and sometimes not even giving accurate lyrics?

Some people have gone and created a wiki for lyrics that you can find at lyricwiki.org.  Now when I search for lyrics instead of typing "[name of song] lyrics" i type "[name of song] lyricwiki" to see if they have it first, and have even contributed a couple of lyrics for songs that were missing them.

Just wanted to let other people know this great site exists.

for lyrics, i prefer the site songmeanings.net

it's user added as well, and there are discussion boards for each song.

i will try out this lyricwiki though..

Yep! And even when the lyrics are wrong, all the other websites have the exact same (wrong) lyrics - like they just copy them from each other. So frustrating. Thanks for the info!

My friend has Winamp set up that when a song is played the lyric pop up in another window.
