~dill's girlfriend~ So dill is in jail and he started a bulk before he went and i'm suppose to finish it... i got the casing layer on and it has been doing good, except the casing layer was put on Aug. 5th and now its Aug. 22nd... the mycelium has taken over the casing layer but i'm pretty sure it should have started pinning by now... i think maybe it doesn't have enough humidity to support growth, but i don't know, i've never done this any help?

That might be your problem right there. From what I have read, light/warmth induces pinning.

Sorry to here about Dill being in jail. Hope he gets it worked out.
It needs a lot of Fresh Air Exchange referred to as FAE and should get 12 hrs. of good light. A cool fluorescent in the 6500k range is best. You can get the ones that replace regular bulbs, by GE, that are perfect. I can't remember exactly what the box says but basically they say something like day light on the box and says 6500k they cost about $7 for 2. They come in like 15 20 and 26 watts.
Good luck. Fell free to ask as many questions as you need to.
